Mentions and replies

Type @ in a deal composer to mention a teammate, and reply to a note, email, or call entry in a single level of thread. Both stay inside deal visibility.

Updated 2026-07-21

On a deal page, the composer and any reply box both support @-mentions, and note, email, and call entries on the timeline can each carry a thread of replies.

@-mentions

Type @ while logging a note, email, or call, or while writing a reply, and an autocomplete lists workspace members to pick from. Pick one and it’s inserted as a mention in the text.

Who gets notified

A mention only notifies someone who can already see the deal. If you mention a teammate who doesn’t have access — per the deal’s visibility — NeoKivo does not notify them, and it never grants them access as a side effect of being mentioned.

Threaded replies

A note, email, or call entry on the timeline can be replied to, and each reply shows nested under the entry it responds to. It is a single level of threading by design: you can reply to the original entry, but not to a reply itself.

A new reply notifies the entry’s original author and anyone else who has already replied in that thread — not the whole deal team.

Notifications

Both a mention and a reply notify under the Comments & mentions category — see notifications for how to control that category’s in-app and email delivery.
