Your data: export, deletion, and retention
What you can export and when, how to delete your account, and the retention window that protects you if a workspace lapses by accident.
Updated 2026-07-06
Exporting your data
You can export your contacts, companies, and deals to CSV from Data → Import & export. Every export requires the data-export permission from your role and is recorded to the audit log. Export works the same whether your workspace is fully active or read-only — a lapsed subscription never blocks you from getting your data out.
Documents are downloaded individually, from the document itself — there is no bulk document export today. The companies export is a list of company names; the richer detail (contacts, deals, values) travels with the contacts and deals exports, which reference each company by name. Notes do not have their own CSV export.
Deleting your account
There is no self-service delete button. To delete your account, email hello@neokivo.com. We will delete your workspace content within a reasonable period of your request.
Some records, such as billing and tax records, may be kept longer where the law requires it.
The 90-day safety net
A lapsed or cancelled workspace does not disappear. It becomes read-only, and we retain it in that state for at least 90 days, with prior notice before any permanent deletion. Your data stays viewable and exportable the whole time, so an accidental lapse — a card that fails to renew, a subscription cancelled by mistake — never costs you your data.
We do not train on your data
We do not use the contents of your workspace to train AI models — not ours, and not any provider’s. This applies to everything in your workspace, whether or not you use the AI assistant. If you do use the assistant, the prompt text and the specific records relevant to it are sent to our model provider to generate a response, and are not used to train that provider’s models either.
